Thought that looked familiar. It’s “The Last of the V8’s”, mate – the Pursuit Special.
The 2 times I was in Australia I had a Ford Falcon as a rental car. Both times I upgraded, the first to the turbo strait 6 and the the second time to the twin turbo strait 6. Both cars were performance screamers that would eat an American Mustang GT for lunch.
Yeah, I heard the “turbo lag” in the audio.

It looks a lot like the ’72 Torino fastback (straight 6) I drove in HS.
Looking at the nose and the rear end, it is a lot like a Ford Maverick…had a ’70 when I got out of HS and with a little tweaking it moved right along.
Passed everything in sight but a gas station, eh?
Reminds me of my a 1970 Pontiac Tempest LeMans
