That means it’s time for a really good tune.
Blame Irish. he brought it up a few days ago and it’s been an ear worm ever since.

Second album I ever bought. Yeahhhh man. The song ” Left turn on red light” is my second favorite on the album. On and On. I still have it by the way. Great post.
Saw the cover and immediately thought “Train Train”.
That one too. Smedley Metlock on hermonica. Awsome.
Sorry, Shorty Medlocke I think. Gettin old.

Ricky Medlock’s side project when he wasnt in the studio or touring with Skynyrd.
Great band, sorry i never got to see them live…that i can remember.
Damn, a first! I like a song that you have posted Phil! Of course, I hear the Southern Rock, Jazz and shades of Skynyrd interwoven, a great tune! I really loved that guitar riff!
I saw them back in the late 70s or could have been very early 80s. They were a bit off i think but super loud. When they went into Train Train for the encore they blew totally blew that small venue away. It’s a good memory.
Another great song I used to blast along to on our local dirt roads.
Radar Love was what really pushed the loud pedal hard, though. 😉

Southern rock rules!
Leigh, my go-fast song was ‘Red Barchetta’ — or, of course, ‘Copperhead Road’.
Red Barchetta puts me in a different mood than my other examples, Budd. I have a notion in my head about what the song/story should look like. Even what roads in Vermont it should occur on. It is a very stirring song, for me. I do motivate while listening to it, just not Hell Bent For Leather kind of velocities – speaking of another dangerous song to drive to!

Great tune and a great band. Saw them with .38 Special one night in Madrid, Spain during high school. Damn, life was good!
This is what I call ‘ticket getting music’.
