But I never think about it terms of race… until someone else does. I’m neither proud, nor embarrased, to be of German descent, any more than my hair color (to the extent it even exists). I don’t expect anyone else to care about my race either. MLK claimed this as his dream. We can see his legacy unfolding in front of us.
