I’m Awake And I’m Fucking Pissed Off

Apparently I am one of the lucky ones.

Once you Wake Up to the bullshit, you can never UnSee it everywhere around you.

Guy who pick movies apart for things they see very plainly that aren’t true in real life do this all the time. They ruin the movie for those who are watching it to be entertained and hate it when inconsistencies and outright fakery are pointed out while watching it.

Those are the NPC’s who refuse to see what is in front of their faces.

Life turns into those movies when you Wake Up.

  1. It’s the price of the popcorn that is pissing me off…
One of my favorite John Elroy Sanfod lines wss “Don’t get greedy, Grady “

  2. I don’t watch movies anymore and television is torture because their agenda is so blatantly on display it no longer entertains.

While I love my friends and the hubs dearly, conversations are difficult annd meaningless anymore; merely kabuki theatre.

  3. I really appreciate the fact that my spouse is totally alert to the reality … and that the internet has allowed me to have contact with people, such as Phil and Cederq and those of you here that understand this theater we’re watching … I don’t feel alone.

  4. No, not really. I still can suspend my disbelief and let my mind go on autopilot to appreciate without thinking about the preparation, the practice, the skill, the retakes, the frustrations involved in making something like Downton Abbey or one of the Star Trek movies.

I can get lost in a movie, wish it never would end, identify with the protagonist or even likeable antagonists, and go back to it after years of separation to enjoy it again knowing how it ends . . . IF the primary characters haven’t exposed themselves as assholes in the mainstream media.

There’s no “lonliness,” only anger at having one of the principal performers rob me of the pleasure of a scene or a plot or a lesson by his off-screen political remarks, such as DeNiro or Hanks or Streisand and many others.

I won’t watch a DeNiro movie because I know that part of my mind will be distracted by his late-stage TDS, his churlish rhetoric, his raging ignorance.

And I’ve never much cared for Tom Hanks . . . can’t really say why except that some of his political opinions are SO friggin closed-minded that his every utterance, even if written and directed by someone else, becomes suspicious to the point of contemp.

    • Pluto, tubi and plex. Eastwood, wayne, Bronson, Gibson. When they run out, I go back to Josey wales and start over. Even then you still get stupid commercials.

  5. I’ve turned to listening to all types of music to re-live the childhood wonderment in magic and people’s genuineness, kinda.
There’s agenda in some lyrics but the music is whatever you want it to be.
    It works for now.

  6. Yeah, welcome to my life for the last 30 years. It’s a lonely fuckin’ road to trudge. Having places online where there are others who “get it” and discuss it openly has been something of a relief. But I’m still endlessly frustrated by the number of people who don’t get it, and clearly never will. They are the one who will insure that we have to suffer horribly by doing everything the hard way.

Couldn’t agree more with @bocopro above about no longer being able to watch movies with certain actors who are such fuckheads in real life, that just seeing their faces and hearing their voices takes me out of the movie and ruins the experience. And these are old movies I’m talking about. The new shit isn’t even worth giving a chance because it’s garbage right from the get go, rife with ridiculous girl bosses, unrealistic forced divershitty, and rampant faggotry. TV has been a lost cause for going on 20 years. And even some music has been ruined for me, again because certain musicians have proven themselves to be such abrasive, ill informed pricks.

  7. Yup, 30 odd years here too, no legacy media whatsover.
Englands been fucked since the mid 90’s and its only going one way, i’ve been truckin for 50 years this year so haven’t had to put up with too many of the sheep.
Eternally grateful my lovely wifey is awake too, she’s got a dead on bullshit meter and can spot a wrong un a mile off.
Son and grandkids are in Oz, it may be just as woke and doomed as England but its got room for them to breathe, i’ll peg out in due course happier than if they were stuck in the infested crap hole Blighty now is.

  8. I have been that way for a few years now and been wondering why it seems more and more like i am missing something. I get the part where watching a new movie and being able to say what the actors are going to say before they say it. People just seem to run through the motions and we are only surprised when something out of the ordinary happens. Used to be a voracious reader and now have trouble reading half a book. Neither happy or unhappy about being aware of it, but a lot more curious now knowing it happens to a lot more people than me. Wife just says it is because i am just too analytical

  9. As the Psalm says, it’s all vanity. I do pay attention but find joy daily in spite of what’s going on in the world. I hope all of you do as well.

  10. Yup, and you had best figure out how to get comfortable with the isolation as you wait for the rest of your social circle to catch up with you…and some never do.

  11. Yeah, I’ve there for a BIT. There is no escape.
My blue pill is way too far past the “Best by” date, probably. I think I lost it.
Anybody have a good, spare, blue pill. Alcohol and drugs don’t work on me or I’d have an easy out. Well, that and I have to stay present and effective for all my animals…and the wife.

  12. This video absolutely encapsulates where I’m at in my life. It can be very frustrating when trying to describe it to another person as they have no clue. This awareness is both a blessing and a curse.
