  1. Timely post CederQ as just earlier this evening I was watching that Steve Lehto feller and he had a post up roundabouts this very thing:

Day-um. Seems to me “some states” are all around looking like they ain’t so much trying to improve how their own citizens view ’em.

The Pols is what I’m meaning.

  2. it doesn’t matter much. the fuckers dump their old house for crazy money and move wherever they want. I am told there are a few of them nearby. seems like they bought small farms and to keep the farm tax rate, grow Xmas trees (?)
yup. little line in the tax code is they have to sell 2 grand worth of stuff every 2 years or something to get the write off. so when you drive by a place and all you see are little Xmas trees, it a fucking out of state asshole. but, anyone living near a city might want to up armor something for food runs in the future ?
story around here the other day was someone was zeroing in their 50 cal.
lots of boom noise, one at a time like. maybe 10-15 shots all told.
no brass left at the range either, but most shooters around here reload a lot of their own ammo anyway.
another thing I noticed as well. Tannerite is being sold in stores nearby too
first time seeing that. I used to seeing salt lick “bricks” and mineral “bricks”
the kind one MIGHT USE TO BAIT DEER. but unless the game warden catches
you using one in front of your stand. not much they can do about you buying one.
most guys/gals around here hunt for the freezer, not a rack.
the guy down the road sold his house for what we thought was crazy money not too long ago. like a month. guy brought his family up here from the great state of FLA. he said here is a lot safer than where they where. I believe that. looked at the state before moving here. not too many safe areas that I could afford there.
and the population breakdown is not in your favor either.

  3. California is my home state. Me and my wife were both born in the late 50s and are conservative. We met at UCLA in the late 70s and moved out with our sons to the east coast in 96 due to business. Many of our family have moved but many are still there. Some conservative and some liberal. Most of the liberal me and my wife cannot get through to and have given up on politics.

Most liberals have TDS as they had BDS before. Until the liberals have something bad happen to them caused by the Biden/Obama disaster that shakes them to their core there will be no change and even then it is unlikely.

  4. Yesterday it was announced that all trucks in California will be zero emission by 2045. In making the announcement the Air Resources Board said they hadn’t studied the economic impact on trucking companies and owner operators, but they were certain that over time they would be saving money. A typical CARB ‘shoot first, ask questions later’ approach.

And no, I’m not making this up.

    • You really don’t have to make ANYthing up when it comes to California. If it’s stupid, not thought out, “green”, or woke, then chances are some meathead Politician (sorry for the repeat) has brought it up in the Legislature and all the blithering idiots vote for it!

It’s a pity that there’s no entrance tests for being a politician, since to be able to govern well you have to be able to UNDERSTAND what’s going on. We have a real excess of pig-ignorant Politicians lately.

The voters aren’t far behind, either!
