Racism is a word coined by Leon Trotsky (although toyed with in the late 1800’s by other marxists) to denigrate and marginalise certain segments of the population.
It has no place as a word in the English vernacular.
Stop using it.
We are all in this together, no matter what colour we are…. Sometimes, you have to adapt to local conditions, but if you’re gonna live in peace with your neighbours, you’ll have to find common ground to some degree.
It is extremely encouraging to see the reach of this song, and if it helps to develop the polarization between rural folk and the city people, well some things need to be left to themselves.

There ARE common traits that, GENERALLY SPEAKING, are more pronounced in certain people. If you didn’t know anything about two people who were going to be competing in a foot race of three miles except that one is an Eskimo and the other from Kenya and you were handed a thousand dollars with the agreement that you Had to bet half on one of them, who would you put your five hundred dollars on?
If you said the Kenyan, does that make you a racist? Or just not an idiot?
