  1. Yeah – good luck with that. I’d band her like a kettle drum in 3/4 time.

  2. An accordion is the opposite of culture.
    Just sayin’.

    I’d play her…ahem… like a harp.
Just before I banged her but after I banded her.

  3. I could do without the squeezebox, but it sounds shockingly good on the harp.

And just so there’s not TOO much culture going on…
I’ve got an extra few fingers she could use if she needs.

      • If you’ve ever seen me play this on guitar, my way, you would see how “high-bred culture” this version is.
I find ways to make everthing heavier and more abrasive…except for LZ’s “Ten Years Gone”…that would be sacrilege. But I still push the boundries even on that song.

  4. Pretty cool. I had to do a minute of digging.
They are Tetiana Mazur and Sergii Shamray out of Ukraine.
The mini harp/balalaika on steroids is a bandura, which I’d never heard of.
One blurb I caught (without corroboration) is the gal is a drone operator in the military?
    Nice pick. Thanks.

  5. Thanks for culturaling me. Now I’m going into the woods for a few days to get my native on.

  6. This is my favorite song. Nice alt arrangement with harp thing and never heard an accordion be made to sound like an oboe. Altogether a very nice arrangement.

  7. I’ve been to 3 Led Zeppelin concerts & have never heard stairway to heaven live. And that’s just fine with me.

    • VERY nice rendition! I’ve done the Requiem several times, this version seems to be a mo’ betta arraignment!
      JMHO – YMMV.

  8. Little information. The instrument is a bandura. Traditionally Ukrainian and many bandurists were blind. The Bolsheviks and subsequently the U.S.S.R. killed them starting right after the revolution and continuing until after WW2. Why? Ukrainian culture, like others, was suppressed to make room for socialism.

  9. OK, lt’s step up the Kulcha a bit with Stairway to Heaven with a wobble board as the main instrument.

And just for the unkulcha’d, become kulcha’d by learning which two fingers to stick in your mouth to summon the waiter in the restaurant.

    OK?
