Puerto Rican coffee is about the same. One cup and it’s BLAST OFF.
Heh… I started out drinking it with cream, enjoyed it. Started traveling with a band and discovered that in cafes, just when you get the ratio of cream to coffee jussst right the waitress comes along and refreshes your cup. Fuck it, I’ll drink it black.

When I was at school at the HMSC in Newport back in 1985, I went from espresso, to chocolate covered coffee beans, to just eating coffee beans.
I became immune to caffeine, and it has no effect, other than ritual now.
Same applies to the evolution of alcohol:
Wine
Beer
Single shot mixed drinks
Double shot mixed drinks

Anything that contains alcohol
