Dunno about that critter,in the picture but my terrier cornered a juvenile one a week or so ago and it was much pointier in the snout and had one heck of a lot of needle teeth showing.
Managed to keep em apart and prodded the possum with a pole to “encourage” departure in the opposite direction. Ornery guy did not want to move, but eventually did.
