    • well, no. but if he had a few rounds of anti personal can shot, that would work very well instead. my uncle Jack who was a marine inWW2 had a lot of great things to say about the 37mm and can shot as he called it. he said it worked like a broom to sweep away the japs
they used a few of them on the “canel” to cross fire across in front of their line.

  1. One of those contraptions is parked in front of CMP headquarters at Camp Perry, placed in honor of the Ohio National Guard outfit that got activated in 1941 and took their Stuarts to the Philippines shortly before the Japs attacked. Very few of those guys survived the war and the commemorative plaque describing the events and listing the names is sobering. If in northwest Ohio, well worth your time; you can drive right in and park right across the street from it and after which you can read the Medal of Honor citations at the entrances to the Viale, Young, Rodriguez and Petrarca ranges.

  2. Well, it’s not like it’s a BIG tank or anything. Merely a little ol’ M3 Stuart. Was obsolete even by the time WW2 started. The only tanks it could compete against were Jap tanks, which were even more worthless.

  3. If I could own a tank that one would be my choice. The M-5 ( I’m pretty sure) in Wolfboro NH would do just fine.

  4. After buying a used car in that area most people go home and take a shower. Looks like one guy cranked it up a notch.

  5. Was Fury painted on the barrel.

Conundrum, Sherman or Komatsu D355A, decisions decisions.

  6. Nobody will fight him for parking place. Plus turns on a dime and gives you change.
