#43: CH-47A a.k.a. “Guns-A-Go-Go.” Four produced. Interesting helicopter with 75% destruction rate. Two shot down and one destroyed when it got tangled up with a “regular” Chinook on the ground. The survivor is on display in Alabama at whatever they’re calling Mother Rucker now.

I fkn hated Chinooks. You can’t see out, you can’t shoot out, and you can’t get out. See here:

But as a civilian watching that sucker nearly lay over sideways on a hard right turn after hearing it coming up the valley out over the lake at green leaf state park while I was fishing from the dam gave me a woody. He returned later and simulated a water retrieval, it wasn’t getting any harder.
Lot a training going on at nearby Camp Gruber during the early part of the gulf war activities. My twin uncles trained there with the 45th, one of Pattons favorite units. One is still in Italy at Netuno.
Made me damn proud to be an American fer sure.
Why aren’t all the helicopter specs given in American? As to the Assahola, there should be a 10X on his forehead.
No, the 10x should be on the intestines.
No 47: I simply don’t believe that Cederq will accept lube anyway, but if he did, it’d be bacon grease rather than gun grease. Or vice versa, depending on whether or not Bill felt like inviting Monica along for a 4-way, for old time’s sake.

#32 Deliverance, #34 For a Few Dollars More
I have #34 on my DVR. Haven’t watched it yet. Watched For Fistfull of Dollars last night.
Shame shame Nemo, that’s almost unamerican. You could rectify that situation this evening. Wish I could join u with a cold libation.
#20 – Where is the wall of glass bricks and windows? Only once did they move us under the bleachers where there were no window, when we had actually tornadoes playing in the neighborhood. Or the employer who thought putting us in the storage crib with the O2 and acetylene bottles was a good idea during a tornado warning.
Okie fail Judy, we sit out on the driveway in a lawn chair with a six pack looking for it. It’s one of many good ole redneck sports in these parts.
Have a Blessed week.
ps 18 glad that POS is dead, now do peelousi Mr. death, or hire Chuck Norris.

42 That’s how stupid the military leaders can be.
44 mortgage would be better.
47 Sox?
48 Can’t, he’s dead Zed
I’m from Kansas; at home, we stood on the front porch to keep from being beaned with softball-size hail while watching the tornadoes skip down our row of houses. But at school we were required to take ‘cover,’ which didn’t prevent us kids from pointing out the stupidity of where we were taking ‘cover’ at. I’m just glad Dad never got transferred to Tinker AFB when they were doing a bunch of shuffling of DOD employees in the mid-60s. Alaska would have been cool, though!

I guess thats’s okay, for a starter kit.
