Just read McCarthy’s wiki entry and he’s been a life long loser (never held a job in the private sector) and a parasite off the taxpayers. Off with his nutz!
I really don’t think the founders had it in mind to have congress critters as life long jobs. and it does look like the worse of the assholes are the ones who have bein there since getting out of law school. one thing though, it is showing us who needs to get another job or voted out if that is even possible anymore.

Exactly right. They were intended to be citizen legislators who were supposed to return to private life after 1-2 terms. George Washington is the perfect example.

As much as I wish this would go on for a couple of years, I will content myself today with the knowledge that for four days we’ve not had Congress sent a trillion dollar spending bill to all members for a vote.
After 15 try’s he finally gets enough votes. My Dad always said to put a fence around Washington D.C. and Baltimore, that way we would have a state and national zoo. I would add DON’T FEED THE ANIMALS.
