  1. Paraphrasing Mark Twain. I never wish death on anyone, but I have read some obituaries with pleasure.
    Mitch is one for sure.
As Rob Roy said “he’s a stoat of a man”
    Thune is no better

    • That was Clarence Darrow, not Mark Twain.

Darrow also said: “The world is made up for the most part of morons and natural tyrants, sure of themselves, strong in their own opinions, never doubting anything.”

  2. It’s a pity the people cannot impose the term limits we were provided, but rather have re-elected this lifelong corruptocrat term after term. Feet first is the only way we can get rid of these CongressWeasels. Mark Steyn termed it well, we live in Incumbistan.

  3. So they found him dead (needed CPR), got him to a hospital, put him in an intensive care unit and calling that good enough for the US Senate? Is he on life support?
I wonder who is calling the shots from his office with him quasi-dead like that?

    • “I wonder who is calling the shots from his office with him quasi-dead like that?”
Probably the same puppetmaster that has been pulling his strings the last couple of years.
Kinda makes Thune’s declaring Summer Vacation make sense now, dunnit?

At least now, Mitch is just as sharp as Nanner Pelosi on one of her good days.

  4. Here’s the real kicker. The day after Mitch was admitted to hospital, his wife, Elaine Chou, former Transportation Secretary under Trump and Secretary of Labor in both Bush II administrations, hopped on a plane to Beijing and she’s STILL THERE. Why do you think that is?

Remember that clip of some Chinese government official from several years ago laughing about having co-opted highly placed politicians in the U.S. government? Who do you think he was talking about? Look at Elaine Chou and look at Mitch. How do you think he scored that fox? It wasn’t because of his looks. Yes there are/were others. Particularly CA Senator Dianne Feinswein, who had a Chinese national as her driver for many, many years.

  5. Strangely, I’m listening to Glenn Beck’s morning show and everything he said fits with what she’s saying – minus how she talks numbers and experience from the professional side. There’s a date coming after which no one can run to replace him, and he’ll officially be just fine until after that date.

  6. Mitch is probably now just a hunk of useless meat until they take him off life support. If he had CPR at his age then i agree with the nurse that his chances of walking out of the hospital are almost nil. The usual survival rate for his age group is around 5%, He will probably had had multiple ribs cracked during the CPR, I know i broke many doing CPR as a EMT, it can’t be helped.
I am more concerned with what Elaine Chou took with her and mostly likely gave to the Chinese. Ole Mitch like a lot of Senate and Congress take a lot of information home with them and store it for when they need to convince someone to do something for them.
