I’ve told several people over the years that if they need a home for their dog to call me.
I do a 5K walk around the neighborhood every day and have determined that dogs just reflect their owners attitudes. You can tell what someone thinks about you by the way their dog acts towards you. There are these Golden Retrievers who just want you to come over to the fence and play. One family has 3 dogs and the Alpha male shuts down the other 2 when they try to bark at me. One of the best is this German Shepard who doesn’t say a word when I walk by. He just walks along with me on his side of the fence patrolling his perimeter without getting excited. We do this every day.

I had an Evil X that took my dog to the bar and sold him for drinking money. My DOG was having none of it and caused his new “owners” SO much grief the returned him. Didn’t even ask for a refund.
