Give your loyalty to your family, not the Company.
Most companies – yes. The company I have been at for the past 33 years has been good to me. One of my bosses is in low 80’s, the other in high 70’s. They still want to work. Most of us employees have been there 20 years – three of us over 30 years. My family has my loyalty, but my work has been good to me too. I know I’m lucky.
Indeed, your Company is blessed, which is the exception to the rule.
Hang on to it as long as you can. If the owners sell, RUN !
I did, but it still wasn’t good enough so fuck THEM. Life is grand these days.
