I don’t understand why people who write software aren’t aware that most people these days use ad blockers and that they should code their stuff to NOT LOOK LIKE ADWARE.

Would not have approached in the view of the camera. Full facial coverings, and non descript clothing will not prevent identification. Gait and movement patterns can be analyzed, and provide clues to identity.
A few cameras in my area that may need to be dealt with in the future. Approach from the back with an old fashioned tree pruning pole. Seems to be a reasonably good method.
