I take the pickup in red please. Dad bought a 1968 C-20 big 6 4 speed cast iron
tranny. left it in KY for his brother to sell. he NEVER did sell it.
just ran it into the ground. never changed or even check the oil. (??)
and I spent 2 weeks rebuilding that engine too back in 1976. new clutch/pressure plate. I hated what he did to it. by 1984, it was a wreck. rusted out and hard to start
let alone run. YEAH, my uncle was a real asshole.
About that first one, the 50 year old truck. A week ago, my wife and I were talking about something we both remembered from 50 years ago, and instead of saying 50 years, my brain said “half a century ago.” It changed the feeling of it completely.
Every time I put up a Chevy or Ford post I place them all under a general theme name, I use Chevy for all the GM products and Ford for all the Ford products and have been doing that for years and one or so people always call that out. I will continue to be obstinate and do that, gotta get use to it.
Very nice collection. Btw that’s a nice 58 not 56 (is this a test) wagon. Don’t see too many of them. Thanks for the memories
I’m gonna side with you on this. That is a ’58. Almost as nice as the ’57.
Lot of sweet rides there but the pick of the litter has got to be the Nomad. ’57.

See the USA in your Chevrolet.

My half century high school reunion was in 2022.
Chevy’s? Not quite. You know you have Pontiacs, a Cadillac, and Buicks in there, right?
