Been There, Done That

61 Ford pickup, 65 miles an hour. Coming up a rise into a corner on the highway. Wrapped the fucker over the top of the cab without breaking the windshield.

It was loads of fun trying to get it half assed back down out of the way. My skinny ass jumping up and down on it. Fucked the hinges and all. Then I had to find something to tie it down with.

Got to work and just took it all off.

The only thing salvageable was the hood emblem and the hinge mounting bolts.

Come As You Are, Open Thread

It’s been a while and much has transpired.

The food situation is going to get critical next Winter, the Supply Chain disruptions are about to get worse, the FOOLS in power keep poking China in the face with this Taiwan bullshit, they are getting their proxy asses kicked in the Ukraine but won’t admit it, Monkey Pox is the next PANIC button, voting is still ALL FUCKED UP and on and on and on.

What’s on your mind?

Sometimes?

If you haven’t figured out by now that blindly obeying is going to get you inflicted with horrifying consequences up to and including death, there is no hope for you.

There is a reason this is my guiding principle.

Every single day we are bombarded with bullshit that has potentially deadly consequences.

Learn to take most of what you see and hear straight to the garbage disposal.

Think for yourself and for God’s Sake,

Trust your gut.

Not Even One Pocket Full

My Sister In Law sent me this and said she thought of me when she saw it.

I laughed out loud and told her that wasn’t even one pocket.

I’m wasn’t kidding.

Normally there would be a Snap On 4 inch crescent wrench in the mix that I have carried every day for over ten years but I seem to have misplaced it somewhere in the last week.

Other than that, this is my typical every day load.

It’s no wonder my britches are always trying to fall off and the holes in my belt are stretched out.

The normal load of nuts, bolts and screws is a little on the light side too.

This doesn’t count what is in my coat pockets either.

Before anyone asks, yes that is a thread gauge there towards the bottom next to the silver pliers multi tool.
