The Ports Shut Down

The once-busy port of Seattle has all but shut down.

The Port of Seattle on Sunday, April 27, 2025: EMPTY. This is the 4th busiest port in the nation. Inbound freight from China has STOPPED. Supply-chain disruption will now begin, nationwide. Anyone who has spent time in Seattle can tell you that these docks are always PACKED and the Puget Sound is usually overrun with waiting cargo vessels.

Here is the Marine-Tracker for Seattle: Waiting ships: ZERO. Inbound ships: ZERO. There are presently ZERO cargo ships docked or en-route. There are ZERO containers in the yard, and there are ZERO trucks waiting to haul cargo.

Even if this global trade war is ended tomorrow, it will take a minimum of 30 to 55 days, but more likely at 7-9 months, to normalize supply chains and have available product again. And that’s if everybody calls it off immediately. 40% of cargo vessels leaving China today (vessels that were already paid to make the journey, whether there is a reason to or not) are traveling completely empty. Inbound Shipping container volume is down 80%.

There were always going to be trade disruptions. This is a good time to get stocked up, top up supplies, and avoid travel and unnecessary expenses.

From the liberal Canadian blog I gander every once in awhile. Maple Magas? Pray tell Filthie, JL, Exile, Mike in Canada is the hell that?

I like the phrase: “Because of American threats against Canadian economic and political sovereignty” Are we going to war with our frozen neighbors? This is from a retired Barrister(attorney) from the Plains Provinces.

Strategic Voting For The Win!

Because of American threats against Canadian economic and political sovereignty, the Liberal Party won in yesterday’s federal election. As of this moment it is still unclear whether it will be a majority or a minority government, as some close ridings are still in play. The Liberals were able to win because the Bloc Québécois vote in Quebec and the progressive NDP vote across Canada went over in droves to the Liberals due to strategic voting.

I’m relieved that Prime Minister Mark Carney will be the one to deal with the difficult times ahead. He has an impeccable resume of calm and competent crisis management, having been Governor of the Bank of Canada during a previous recession and Governor of the Bank of England during Brexit. He has first class international contacts, connections and respect. He is not hindered by extremist ideology.

In any other set of circumstances but the current one of American aggression, Pierre Poilievre’s Conservative Party would have won. They may well eventually win an election which, in my opinion, would not be good news for Canada. The party is too dominated by “Maple MAGAs” enamoured of extremist right-wing views and policies. I predict an imminent internal power struggle within its ranks now that Poilievre has lost. The ugly cracks were already showing during the campaign. Before the next election, I’m also counting on everyday Canadian voters learning a valuable lesson from watching the ongoing MAGA destruction of the political, economic, and social fabric of the United States, with its inevitable catastrophic consequences.

In the meantime, Canadians and its new government need to get on with the crisis at hand.

Never Forget! They are not your friends, they will kill you.

Their actions after the burning were not of remorse and sadness over the taking of lives, it was victory dance, bravado and bloodlust. You want to see pure sociopaths, look to whom are hired and trained to follow the elites perverse plan of subjugation. We are not FREE when you have government agencies that completely ignore the clear writings and mandates of the Constitution and our Bill of Rights, those two documents are the pure American Citizens, not those that are hellbent on destroying what we are. We have the Power, it needs to be realized and directed.

Trump offers ‘touchback amnesty’ plan

The federal government will facilitate and pay for the self-deportation of those who have entered the country illegally, while operations will continue to target gang members and violent criminals, President Donald Trump told Fox News host Rachel Campos-Duffy in an interview filmed at the White House that aired on April 15.
The president said government-provided stipends, including plane tickets and money, could help incentivize illegal aliens to leave the country and pursue legal status.
We’re going to make it comfortable for people, and we’re going to work with those people to come back into our country legally,” Trump said during the interview. “And then … if they’re good, if we want them back in, we’re going to work with them to get them back in as quickly as we can.”
So they will get paid to leave, then they turn right around and get an expedited “legal” return flight back to America.
This is a policy known in some circles as “touchback amnesty,” and it infuriates border hawks like William Gheen, president of Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC).
Gheen says this amounts to smoke and mirrors being used to hide what is really a policy of amnesty. That word dreaded by all MAGA patriots, AMNESTY, is now the official policy of the Trump administration.
ALIPAC issued an email alert Tuesday that sounded alarm bells and suggested that maybe the man they championed for the White House really isn’t who they thought he was. The alert used not only the dreaded “A” word (amnesty) but the “G” word (globalist) as well. Using the A word and the G word in the same sentence to decribe a Trump policy is no small thing. It’s quite astonishing and signals Trump making a major break with his base.
Here’s a passage from the ALIPAC release:
“Americans For Legal Immigration PAC is launching a pressure campaign to oppose President Trump’s globalist plan to bring illegals that self-deport back into America through a Touchback Amnesty plan that was defeated in 2007 when Mike Huckabee proposed the same plan, dubbed Shamnesty by illegal immigration opponents.”

The alert goes on to warn the Trump administration that “a touch-back Amnesty will anger Trump’s base voters, weaken his second Presidency, encourage illegals, and undermine efforts to secure borders and conduct mass deportations. ”ALIPAC ended its email alert with this stern reminder from Gheen:
“Nobody voted for Trump to give illegals Touchback Amnesty and play a Shamnesty trick where illegals leave and come right back into America ‘legally.’ Current law requires illegals to leave America and be prohibited from returning for ten years and for the employers of illegals to be fined, not given Amnesty. We’ve seen and defeated this kind of Amnesty attempt before in 2007.”
ALIPAC said it opposes Amnesty for both illegals and employers that hire them and calls on the Trump administration to impose fines on businesses that employ illegal workers instead of accommodating them.
President Trump did not provide further details about how much money illegal immigrants could receive for flights or how to apply for such benefits.
The president also announced a plan to work with some industries, including hospitality and agriculture, to help business owners offset the impacts of mass deportations. He said:
We’re making it so that if a farmer can give recommendations to people, we’re going to be very soothing. They’re sort of responsible, and we’re going to have the farmer take responsibility. But you know, ultimately, at some point, we want the people to go out, come back as legal.”

You want to get really pissed off? I want one and I am sure all of y’all want one…

Thanks Claw of Bear for sending this(You too will be swatted tonight.)
