  1. A sail on a canoe? Do they have outriggers?

Thank you, Bucky Fuller, for the Dymaxion. Wouldn’t want to try driving it in traffic, but it’s more roomy than a VW bus.

Can’t tell what that RHD open coach is; would like to see a bigger photo.

    • I have an 18 foot Old Town sailing canoe, and it DOES have outriggers that clamp to the gunwhales. Fun to sail in light wind but a bitch to tack in wind over 10 mph. There’s a trick I developed to tack in the stronger winds.

I’ve had the canoe go sideways in strong winds, even with the “lee boards” in the water!

  2. I’m sure that Glen Filthie’s diet provides extra boost going down the road. Poutine power!
