  1. Took a tour through the Central New England country side yesterday going to a funeral. That Church pic above is similar to the one where the funeral service was held. It was built in the early 1900’s after the original burned down. All of the wood to build it came from the local area. The pews are constructed of 1/2″ thick solid pine slabs, 20″ wide for the seat and 30″ wide for the back. Hard as a rock.

  2. Hey Cederq, I see you found a pic of miss Sandy cooking up a pot of grits for Sunday brekkie.

  3. yup. kind of like my little cabin here, but I put in two wood stoves.
big one downstairs for everyday heat and a smaller one in the living room.
my neighbor is getting her dead trees taken down and I am getting the GOOD
FIRE WOOD. I am up to my eyes in it ! the carport where I store my firewood
is almost full and I still have a huge pile of rounds to split. ass busting work even with a splitter. but with heating oil at 5.20 per gallon around here. I not going to bitch about splitting it all. the great thing about wood stoves is they do not need electric power to put out heat. as a lot of locals found out a year ago when the power was out for 2 days in winter. a whole lot of people around here are looking to get a wood stove these days, if they can find one,,
a whole lot of people will be getting cold this winter the way things are going.
propane is up as well I am told. going to be a fun winter I guessing.
if there is a election this year, the demorats will be destroyed.
I not so sure there will be one though, just a nagging feeling

    • There’ll be an election. The results won’t be what the polls think though. Now that Demonrats have devised a way to steal a national election, why wouldn’t they just do it again?
