  1. Read elsewhere earlier that Ford is running out of their trademark blue oval badges and other nameplates for their vehicles. I guess all the Chinamen that do all of those inlays must be on lockdown.

  2. Always liked the color blue. For some reason, I’ve never owned a blue car or truck. go figure. Same thing with redheads. Married to the same brunette for 52 years but Ive thought about it.

  3. Runty cunts knock Ford’s. People who duck when they go through doors drive Ford’s. It’s a tall boys ride.

  4. The folks had a turd green four-door 62 Fairlane when I was in high skool 55 years ago and I’ve done my best to forget about that massive POS ever since. And I am, for the record, a Ford guy.

  5. Had a powder blue 1983 Ford Ranger. It was the truck that wouldn’t die. It was a demonstrator so I got it at a pretty good discount. Not my preferred color, but couldn’t pass up the deal. I drove the heck out of it for eight years. A couple of my step-sons drove it for several more years. Used a bit of oil, but was unstoppable.

Back in 1980 I had a Pinto station wagon. It was a complete piece of crap.

  6. Chevrolet…Cheap Heap Every Valve Rattles Oil leaks Every Time
Pontiac… Poor Ole Ninja Thinks Its A Cadillac

    • Mopar – Mother’s Old Piece ‘A Rust
Chevy – Shove it or leave it

Most of those Ford ones I hadn’t heard!

    • A little story, when posting these I had put in what I thought was a hot rodded 1936 Ford blue pick up and it was up for a few hours (all my scheduled posts, post about 4am PST for those dweebs that live on the east coast) and when I got up about 7am this morning and checked the blog to make sure everything posted I noticed a 1936 blue Dodge had somehow slipped in… fortunately I had that blue Bronco I was able to switch it.

  7. Haters just gotta hate.
Yet I don’t seem to recall a movie about Chevy beating Ferrari…….

Nice collection, Cederq. Especially that 72 High Boy. Sweet little rig.

    • I like the 73 E-300 Econoline van, wish I had that now! With those wheels… Always liked that style.

  8. The XT Falcon Tilly was mislabeled, not a ‘62, but a ‘68. I’d have thought that Leigh would have pounced on that one.

    • It is an Aussie abomination, the damn steering wheel is on the wrong side. That is the description that was under the picture and I went with it. How would Leigh know or me know what you kangaroo heads do or build over there? It was blue, it was a Ford.

      • You should have asked Mel Gibson. He likes Aussie Fords, well, GT hardtops anyway, as Mad Max.
A friend just sold his XB Falcon hardtop coupe, factory loaded, and the original 351 Cleveland V8 donk, all in top nick, got $105,000 for it.
