No. Just, no.. Because I can.
One of t he MANY reasons I will not buy a new car.
IF (and that’s a big IF) I had one of these, I will bypass it
The most intelligence I want is the Fuel Computer. A *dumb* one.
I have bought 2 new vehicles. I don’t plan on buying anymore. My current car is a 2008 Pontiac Torrent. A nice enough car, but I have put a LOT of money in it to keep it running.
When it finally dies, I likely will look to buy an older car and not a newer one. While at my age, 65, I don’t work on my own cars anymore, the older vehicles to me just take away some of the extra cost for things like super computing crap that I don’t need.
If they want to go cash for clunkers, I will be advertising to buy one of the cars that is being junked before it’s time.

So what? Just go buy an older truck. Eff them. Win.
Anyone else foresee another “cash for clunkers” coming? Especially now that all new vehicles have a kill switch.
