1. On the bare shelves in grocery stores, I was topping up my dry bean supplies last Thursday, replacing and adding to my stash. Lentils, Roman beans and barley were almost non-existent. First time I’ve seen that since the articles about pending food shortages started up. I know we’re on the tail end of last years harvest, but this situation was a message that there’s six to nine months until next harvest.
