102 yesterday, 100 today, 100 tomorrow, supposed to be close to 100 Friday and go over 100 Saturday.

No joke, the minute I get home from work I am DONE.

Unlike some people I actually work for a living and for my age I work pretty hard.

I am always busy doing something.

Once I hit the front door though,

I get my ass inside, kick off my damn steel toed boots and get something cold to drink.

I can already hear the jeers and name calling about being a pussy but fuck that shit.

Five weeks ago it was 55 degrees every damn day, raining cats and dogs and the wind was blowing.

Every. Day.

These kinds of heat waves literally kill people around here that don’t have A/C or a way to get to it.

About the only thing I do is go out after the sun goes down and make sure my garden is watered.

My tomato plants are loving this shit.

Since I didn’t get them in the ground until almost Mid June they are way behind most folks but I’m here to tell you they are making up for lost time in a big way.

It’s too damn hot to do anything in the garage so I have been coming home, taking a nap and trying to keep up with what’s going on and plotting my next moves.

I may or may not try to get something done Saturday before it gets too oppressive.

I have gone way over on my data usage on my phone and it won’t let me link to my computer to upload videos anymore.

So much for their “Unlimited Plan”…

I think Clif has a few good points here, one of which is that we need to make a big distinction between Economic Activity and the Financial Sector, which is what The Fed’s sole purpose of existence is for.

This is why Wall Street is completely disconnected from Main Street and why we need to start focusing on an Economy Based currency and screw the Fed system.

It’s dying anyway and is going to take as many victims with it when it goes as it can because that is exactly what it is designed to do.

Like he says, it’s cyclical like clockwork but this time they aren’t coming back again.

Dehydrating frozen vegetables you buy at the store.

Get it now while it is still fairly cheap and AVAILABLE.

Buy a bunch of bags, toss ’em in the freezer as you work through them, get you a dehydrator if you don’t already have one, and go at it.

It’s amazing how much they shrink down and that saves a ton of space in the long run. Since frozen vegetables in the bags are already cut up and already blanched, all you have to do is spread ’em out on the trays, turn the thing on and walk away.

I like to run mine all night when The Wifely Unit is gone taking care of her Dad.

When they are done, pour them into canning jars and vacuum seal them.

Good to go for a LONG time.
