I stopped to grab a couple bottles of Coke on the way to work this morning…

I saw $5.49 at another Shell station on the way home.

It is $4.69(local Shell dealer) down here in communist paradise of Southern Oregon. All hail our elite and magnanimous marxist leaders!
Holeeeee shit. $3.69/gal most places I saw driving around today in my Midwest suburbs. Cali must be over $6.something a gallon by now . I fully expect us to hit or even exceed $4/gal this coming week, it not over the weekend sometime.
Well, here we are two days later and gas here has hit $3.79/gal pretty consistently at mainstream gas station chains. God only knows what bad news tomorrow that hits tomorrow will do to it in the course of the next week..
Gas is $3.69 a gallon here in Florida.
My wife and I are heading out in the RV on Monday heading west.
With the price increase that’s going to be extra $3000 to $4,000 in gas.
3.79 yesterday in N Central Ohio
$3.49 or thereabouts in Knoxville, TN.
That’s what I paid in WNC yesterday. $1.10 higher than 2 weeks ago.
You must have some hellacious taxes there. $3.95 here.
Gas was $3.29 two days ago in the low country in SC (Charleston Metro).
I grew up a block from Battery Park.
funny isnt it. we dont get any gas or oil from iran.
maybe you should have bought 2 packages of coke.
3.54 – 3.99 here in western ny

3.89 last night on the way home from work, Eastern Shore of Virginia.
I paid $3.69 this past Thursday in beautiful central New England.
Locally prices are $3.45 to $3.89 according to Gas Buddy across 40+/- stations.
I paid $3.49 for unbranded regular yesterday here in Chickenbone SC.
Ok. I have to ask, is Chickenbone a nickname for your locale, or an in-joke? I looked it up, because I thought it was an oddly cool name for a town, but didn’t get any hits on that name.
In madera calif yesterday I paid $5.49 cash price at valero. Over on the coast my daughter saw $6.07 at mobil and 76.
Definitely not Trump’s fault.
The US is the worlds largest oil producer in the world. WE have all the light sweet crude we need on shore. The heavy sour we need, we get plenty of from Venezuela. Gas prices should not be affected by the Hormuz business.
Gas prices should be less affected for those reasons but it’s a world market for oil. After considering grade and transportation costs, the oil prices will be bid up and diverted to the highest bidder. We’ll end up paying more just to keep it here.
Correct. It’s the Oil Brokers that eventually determine where the oil goes and what is willing to be paid for it.
It’s like lawyers – they’ll jack up the price based on need/greed.
Price gouging at its best. Fuck the consumer, when you have a cartel controlling a basic necessity.
Same price in Puyallup at our local Shell station
Costco in the couve seems to be the cheapest right now. 4.71 unleaded right now, but each stall has regularly 4 cars waiting in line. Fred Meyer was 4.99.
Must be Califonicated pricing, just filled up in SW Michigan for 3.829 per gal, STILL below what we were paying under the autopen regime.
Stick to drill baby drill and add more pipelines, we are going to be just fine and the rest of the world can go eff** itself for embracing green stupidity.
Drill all you want. My “green” EV, solar panels and Tesla house battery don’t look too stupid right now. And I don’t have to worry about the rest of the country much less the rest of the world.
yadda yadda yadda yadda, show us your electric bill dipshit.
Near zero most months before the Tesla battery. During peak AC months our bills are $30 – 40. Just got the Tesla battery. May never have to pay for electricity again.
No, the upkeep will get you instead.
TANSTAAFL
True, nothing is free. It will take a few years to recoup the upfront cost but the higher the electric rates the shorter the time to recoup the investment..
Another benefit is the peace of mind of not having to worry about grid down and losing food in the freezers or roasting in the summer without AC.
Now I’m working on a 2500 gallon rain catchment system. It’s not likely to financially pay off but it’s the peace of mind.
That’s your state screwing you extra. We’re still under $4 here and no where close to Brandons numbers.
Are you tired of winning yet?
🙂
$1.67 increase in eleven days. It may have been eight days, there was a 4 day interval since I checked.
Various nations are cancelling export contracts and pulling back on new contracts to America
Watch global war start when the U.S. stops exports.
You obviously live in a blue-governed state. $3.30 here.
$3.19 but RBOB says near or over 4 in 30 to 60 days. Buckle up and BOHiCA
just filled up at a Marathon $3.83 in Sarasota, FL
