    • that would my guess also, the bigun for the gauge to tank the lil ones hose to gauge and torch

    • Fireplugs usually have 5 sides on the nut, weird setup but makes a regular wrench not work.

  1. Says right on there it’s an Emerson.
Y’all would really like the Mr. Pete’s mystery tool series on YouTube.

  2. In the U.S. Fire Service, it’s called a “Hydrant Wrench” or it might also be gas shut-off wrench…if you’re a right handed fire-fighter it should be in the right-hand pocket of your bunker pants…

  3. Emerson is a radio brand. Wouldn’t that be used to adjust the frequency on a radio set?? Buahahahaha!!!

  4. I have several of these and many other old farm wrenches from Dad and Grandpa and cleaning up a neighbors old buildings before they dozed them for more farm ground. Odd sizes, odd shapes, odd names on the wrenches

  5. I know that my neighborhood use to be a dairy farm. Long ago digging on the back side of my yard I pulled up two square nut and bolt sets. First thought was off the owners equipment. Used some of Phil’s trusty evaporust to clean them up. Still gottem.
