I still remember the “Burst Of Joy” moment mentioned in the video even now from 1973
Col. Robert L Stirm, the subject of that moment was recently laid to rest in Arlington.

I to remember watching that nightly as well, didn’t really understand back then but now I do and 55,000+ dead Americans pisses me off. Wish I could see into hell while those there who supported this are suffering.

Lived just outside of Travis from 1962 to 1971 every day we watched C-141’s land full of flag -draped caskets. Didn’t watch much tv back then.
He now sits at the Table of Heroes. your rest was earned.
