  1. We look at those now as vacation spots. In our modern world of McMansions, it’s tough to imagine a family living full-time in one of them, but people used to do just that. Must’ve been a lot of deliberate ignoring of various sounds and smells.

    • Who said anything about living with anybody, except my dog(s) and they don’t care how you smell… Or drink beer and coffee and stay up late watching movies and eating cold burritos and farting.

Well, I did. And 2 of those photos show family members. They didn’t bathe frequently either.

I’ll eat cold pizza, but cold burritos?

Are dogs bothered by human flatulence? I doubt it.

    • I sold a well built Brownstone home and bought a small log cabin in the woods. Some of the pictures showed beautiful stone chimneys. Here where winter temperatures of -45 is average, you’ll freeze. You can never get those stones hot enough for heating the home. There’s only one place here that I’m aware of that has one and it changes ownership or renters pretty much every spring.

  2. The first pic is not a cabin. Looks like the kind of outbuilding we used for a corn crib.

  3. One of each please, I gotta keep moving around,,,,,for reasons.
