That poster describes a LOT of peopled that peruse this blog…
I’ll look like that in about 250 years.
any place I can get that on a t-shirt ?
fun fact, there are like 4-5 people who walk their dogs by my house here.
I know all the dog’s names but not all of the owners. and they okay with that too.
most of them know me as Slim’s dad/owner. it has been a year now and people
still stop by and talk about that big goofball dog. my neighbor granddaughter loved
him and he her. she did things to him that me and the vet be scared to do.
he was a 110 pound roadie ridgeback, and she was all of maybe 20 pounds ?
we still miss him. he was very protective of kids, any kids. he was a damn good dog. more than once I had to to the neighbors backyard to bring him home so he could bring HIS kids in for lunch/diner.
That right there was good dog! Thanks for telling us about him. I suspect your neighbors felt blessed to have a sharp eyed ‘goofball’ 110lb happy roadie with their kids. Woe to any of ill intent that approacheth his charges. Real safe kids right there. When I think of ‘dogs gone by’ I remember that line from the song Mr.BoJangles.: ‘the dog up and died he up and died and after 20 years he still cried, Mr.BoJangles’. Yep that’s sure true.
Still grieves, not still cried.
I’m being pedantic again. Slow day today.
beat me to it
Uncle Charlie and his singing dog Teddy!
FU that’s why I come here.
