I have been INSANELY busy, even by my own standards.
On top of getting up at 5 A.M. Monday through Friday and getting home about 3:30, I haven’t been able to get in the house to sit down before 7 P.M. for two solid weeks.
Several times it was 8 and even 9, my bedtime.
This last Saturday was a 12 hour day and Sunday was 10 but it damn near killed me I was so wiped out when I finally came in the house last night.
Today was more of the same.
Got home at 3:30 and started in again.
It is now 7:15 and I am tired to the bone.
I still have to get something to eat yet, my stomach has been growling for 2 hours but I have been ignoring it.
Now you know the secret as to how I stay so skinny.
Work yourself half to death and don’t eat anything.
It works well, I’m here to tell ya.
I still have 2 more days to get finished up before this inspection.
A little weed eating in the rock pile out back, some last minute cleaning and polishing and I will be done.
I do have a surprise for you guys though,
I literally haven’t seen that much concrete floor in that garage in at least 2 years.
I wasn’t kidding when I said I have been busy.
So posting on my part has been understandably light and will probably be that way until at least Thursday evening.
My sincere thanks to Cederq for picking up the slack.
If it wasn’t for him there wouldn’t be any posting here.
So Many Thanks dude.
And also many Thanks to everyone who stops by.
Especially those who take the time to leave a comment or two.
Hopefully I will be back to my regular schedule soon.
Holy Smokes! That place looks like a white tornado hit it. I don’t think I have seen my shop look that good in 20-25 yrs. Enjoy it while it lasts. Very impressive.
Now the hard part is keeping it neat.
Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha!!!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
P.S. Do you remember where you put that roll of teflon tape?
Look closely.
It’s right on the near corner of the closest tool box.
Hey! Where is my stool, to sit and drink coffee and bullshoot?
We miss you and your wit and snark Phil 😁. Hopefully you will be back up to speed here soon. Your community here breathlessly awaits your full return. But please, take some time for yourself first. Go fishing, it does the soul good. Many thanks to Cederq for all he does here.
Damn! I am gob-smacked! I have never seen it that clean and organized!I It does my OCD well to see it, I use to cringe every time you posted your garage… Boy ya done yourself good and you will take two weeks off to rest.
damn ! you making me feel bad about the mess in my shop.
best be getting to it. well done.
I just spent the last 2 hours down in the shop and I can see some floor ,,
there a kid who helped me out a bit ago, looks like he going to get some spare
tools I found down there.
Looks FANTASTIC!
It won’t last.
Ask me how I know…
Phil, I’m calling a CGI job done on your toolroom shot. Either that, or you ain’t as worn out as you think.
Where did you put Irish’s trophy from last time?
Good work in cleaning up part of the garage, but I wish you would quit all the bitching ABOUT WORKING HALF DAYS!
MIlton
Yer right, twelve hours is only half a day.
Smart ass.
Garage looking Good.
Thanks for post, starts my day off right. Sorry about my lack of posts. Just don’t talk much. My wife even complains about it. After 82 years I’ve pretty much said it all. Don’ t let em wear you down.
Hmmm. garage floor uncovered. No oil stains. You sure you work on cars??
;P
Man, I do so love seeing shop pictures- not big fancy ones, just us regular guys!
So Phil, it is time to talk about my raise… let’s see, 20% of Zero is how much? I need a promotion then.

OK, you are now the Captain of the Troll Patrol.
You get one free cup of coffee, tomorrow.
Happy?
I are now a captain folks!
I’m pretty sure that Phil took a picture of someone else’s garage. 🙂
Yeah, that is a helluvalot of work you’ve put into that place. Looking darn good.
Looks good. I have a Jeep parked in the middle of mine that has turned into a shelving unit. I’m in the process of clearing off my workbench so I can do a little work and get to the battery chargers in case I need a drill or saw because I can’t get into the cabinet to get to the corded ones. Does that sound messy?
