10 thoughts on “You want to eat fries at McDonalds?”
After more than 20 years, I stopped at McDonalds yesterday and bought French fries. While far from as tasty as I thought they once were, after watching that short clip, I’m feeling rather sick. Never again.
“Goyslop” is the defining term that can – and should – now be applied to the products served by “Wack Arnold’s” (hat tip to Dave Chappelle for that one) and most other “fast food” eateries these days. Shit is downright scary, and I’ve sworn off nearly all of it. The exceptions are Culver’s, Freddy’s (on a more limited basis), Five Guys, and (very rarely) Raising Cane’s.
I will not eat at any of the well known, major chains like McDc’s Arby’s, Burger King, Wendy’s, Hardee’s, Taco Bell or DQ anymore. Too many marginal experiences with those to even bother now, to say nothing of the current pricing having further destroyed any rationale for continuing to consider any of them.
I use to live in South central Idaho right in the middle of the potato growers for Micky Ds. Spraying days was a hell day, you drove with your windows up and AC on, stunk like high hell during that time.
I noticed you have a front row seat to what’s happening up there. Any trouble come your way?
Monitor is bad, bad, bad. Not sure which is worse that or glyphosate.
A short search said Monitor is banned or restricted here in the US. But the clown has deep pockets so who knows.
I’m more concerned about Dicamba the utility companies and DOT use so freely around my area.
Neck
I looked it up Monocrotophos is an organophosphate insecticide. It is acutely toxic to birds and humans, so it has been banned in the U.S., the E.U., India and many other countries.
so I wonder which countries it’s still used in. Regardless, you won’t get a potato sprayed with it here in the US.
Fast Food-High Carb and High Chemical, especially seed oils. I was on the road recently and twice ate at chains, nothing special. I have 2 restaurants, local family-owned, that serve way better burgers and are cheaper than the chains. Thats where we go when we treat ourselves to a meal out.
Carbs-we all have a carb tolerance-the number you can eat in a day and not gain weight. My currently equals 1 beer in the evening.
My wife and I feel much better since we eliminated seed oils from our diet – Your experience may vary. Takes a couple of months to really notice. I also raise my own meat and don’t spray anything. I compare our health (mid-60s) to people in church or the store and empirically I’m not crazy. Just sayin.
They spray wheat with Roundup a few days before harvest now. It helpd dry the wheat. When did they start that? Look at when we started seeing people suddenly allergic to Gluten. The Eugenicists have been working on Soft Kill technology for decades. Funny, the ability to prove there is THC in a plant means No, ya Can’t grow that. But your Water? Aww, it’s okay if it has known carcinogens in it.. It’s not enough to Hurtchya!
They also spray it before No Till planting
Shhhhhhh, you know who eats the bulk of McD’s fries, right?
