As to the percentages, I “thought” the same thing when OBongo was elected the first time back in ’08. I KNEW it when he was re-elected.
They have already started backpedaling on talking points.
That is because 90% or more do not pay attention and have no idea how they are being betrayed by their supposed Congressional representation, both Reps and Senators.
The people running .gov these days should be scared shitless that they’re going to lose power. They should be, but they’re not because they know that not enough of the opposition is willing to do the necessary work to put them permanently out of power.

The societal and cultural destruction has been on going for decades, and will continue until our society implodes and destroys itself.
We have had almost equal Republican and Democrat representation in Congress for decades, yet things keep getting progressively worse. Bigger government keeps getting bigger. Freedoms keep disappearing. Most don’t see or understand or are too apathetic to care.
Things don’t “swing back”.
Things “change”; constantly. Embrace it. Stop reminiscing about a non existent past and craft the future. Adapt.
You hit it with apathy. I’d add people who’d like to speak out but are afraid to because they hold longterm established values that don’t align and are not received well by the new “abnormal” crowd.
