I misread that as “would he plant them as little trees”. And I was thinking Hell, yeah! Plant them head down to a depth of 12 inches, with limbs strapped tightly to the trunk. Tamp soil down tightly, then run a hose trickling water over the root ball for a minimum of four hours.
