I’ve owned my 2000 GMC Z-71 pick-up since spring 2003. So 20 years in with this, my longest owned so far. The 2nd longest was a ’76 Dodge Adventurer, my last ‘real truck’. Metal headliner, triangle side vent windows, bench seat, vinyl truck cab interior. Power nothing. Loved that old thing, you pointed rather than drove it.
LOL. …or your tractor. :o)
Just having an old beast that works when I turn the key gets it a pat. Both my old “friends” are plain reliable. Start every time I turn the key.
My 1985 427 Chebbie-powered Motor coach is a reliable starter as well, but they put a manual choke in it and you need air pressure to run the air throttle to get it to set. Starts right up, though, once everything’s set!
Right on!
