That I do. And a pantry and freezers stuffed to overflowing. My library could keep me going for several decades, even without the internet if forced to.
Last week I finished a couple of large polycarbonate covered cold frames for two of the raised beds to try to extend our miserably short growing season (our climate is a tad harsh here in the Oregon Outback).
I have no desire to actually see the “‘pockyclips”, but we’re as prepared as we can be for any lesser scale disaster.
I do thanks to my father. He was a book collector as am I but most of his were first edition collectors. He even had a friend who wanted to get him a book. The guy recommended my father to find what he was looking for.
I have 5 copies of that one about Frank Eaton who is near and dear to my heart. Dad in his early married days would stop by Frank’s house with the 4H kids he was hauling to show.
