I find it unconscionable that Kari Lake released the audio of the attempted bribe on her committed approximately a year or so ago and the MSM and most “conservative” news sites have not even mentioned it.
Ask yourself why she waited a year to release it. What was she waiting for?
I don’t have the answer, only the question but the whole thing stinks from both sides.

30 years ago i applied to the Canadian armed forces they were desperately looking for people with my degree. If you didn’t have ithe degree they would pay you to do 4 years university and pay your wages during that time. If you did have it you got a signing bonus and immediately enter as officer.
They told me no because i was a straight white male and they didnt want those except as infantry so i said no thanks. Best decision i made.
Similar story here. Besides, after the CAF had to tolerate my cousins for 20+ years, I doubt they would be very happy having another one of the clan show up – even at my age.
Up until I turned 55, they were still very interested in me joining.
My attitude has only degenerated over the years.

Obese? When I looked into it when I was 19, that is what disqualified me then and would disqualify me now. Let’s see what else has happened in the intervening 53 years. Bad knees, high blood pressure, diabetes, asthma, stents, torn ligaments, and nerves in the hands and forearms? Hummm, I don’t think I qualify for anything beyond my rocking chair. Aside from the fact that I’m too old, my tolerance for nit-picking bullshit ran out on year seven (of my nine years in) I’d never make it in the new DEI military.
The first time a pimple-faced second L-T a third my age told me to pick up a cigarette butt, that would be the end of that experiment.
