    The reason I ask is I use 55gr for practice because the 62 is a little more expensive. About a month ago 62 was less expensive so I loaded up.
    The way things are going, it will be a buck/round in no time.

  9. we used to kill people very well with the 55 grain stuff before the 62 came out.
    some used to take a 8 inch mill file and flatten the tips a bit. made them open up a bit more when they hit something.
    remember this if nothing else. anything worth shooting once , is worth shooting twice. double tap was something they taught along with point shooting back in the day. a old 1/503 Abn, 173 BDE. trick
    hits counts, nothing else does.

  12. ammo is not something I really worried about. I started stocking up back when
    blowjob billy was in the white house. I still have a lot of old radway green ammo
    that I got at 21 cents per k. know how pissed you get when you pull a brick of 22 out and see the sticker on it says 14.95 ? and that was federal gold medal match ammo too. if I had any idea ammo was going to go as high as it has.
    I would have bought it by the skid back then.
    still when the grandson comes up , we go shopping for ammo, so he know how much it cost to shoot. he doesn’t know about the stash of it I have.
    you might want to edit this part out, but old paint buckets make great ways to store/hide ammo. clean the inside out, leave the outside messy.
    not too many people mess with old paint buckets. vac seal it with a few disscient
    packs and it good to go. just store it with your other old paint.

        learned that from mom. you wouldn’t believe where she kept
        her food shopping money. she had one of those old cookbooks that had a place to store clipping like.
        she kept it with her shopping list.

  14. Hey Phil good score. I watch SGAmmo’s website. He had some MEM ?military 5.56 ammo he was selling in 1000 round lots. In a few days he shipped over 3000 units and its gone. Demand is increasing apparently. Don’t know if its true but bloggers are reporting that Biden wants Lake City ammo plant to stop selling over run ammo. They say that’s 30 % of commercial supply. That would drive up prices. Like everything now better get it if you need it. My damn sriracha sauce is out of stock or the price has quadrupled due to a pepper shortage.
