That poster is suspect, though: he was in “Teenage Werewolf” (1957) before he was in “Bonanza” (1959).
They used to run older movies in theaters all the time. The only chance to see a movie was in theatrical release or if one of the 3 networks played it and there were no VCR’s. I wonder if they made up a new poster after Landon hit it big on TV. I can think of a lot movies I saw in theaters that were several years old at the time.

He guest starred on nearly every old western in the ’50s before he got his steady gig as Little Joe. Cheyenne, The Texan, The Rifleman, Wanted: Dead or Alive, Tombstone Territory, he pretty much had them all covered.
Kudos to Grit TV for my ongoing education in black and white Westerns. They sure beat watching the news.
