Hurricane Helene and the subsequent flooding have literally destroyed parts of several Southern states.
It is just as bad, if not worse than the effects of Hurricane Katrina.
Entire small towns have been wiped clean off the map.
So far as I have seen or heard, there has been no official government response to this.
Brain Dead Biden is sleeping somewhere in Delaware and Cackles is at a fundraiser in San Francisco.
Hundreds, probably THOUSANDS of people have literally lost everything they own.
And now just for fun, there is a giant fire at a chemical plant in Georgia that is sending huge clouds of toxic shit for miles and is causing local residents to evacuate.
God help us because the ones running the show sure as shit went AWOL.
Cooper over to NC has given a couple interviews, which mean precisely jack shit, this has and will be locals getting together and helping their neighbors.
“Riverfront property” they said.
Adverse possession is more accurate.
Hang in there brothers & sisters. Help will arrive.
Probably the worst thing to have is a big politician show up. All the work stops, everyone puts on clean clothes, and then you have a dog and pony show. After big pol leaves, people get back to business of providing aid.
They’re NOT AWOL, they’re ORCHESTRATING! Big difference!
I hate to state the obvious, but there is no leadership, nor is there any interest in providing aid and resources by the fedscum. We are well past the point where you all must operate under the understanding that the only things the fedgov will ever do run counter to our needs and interests.
That is to say, they are only ever actively working against us. Not that it makes the situation better, but stop looking to the feds to aid with anything but destructive bullshit. As has become a tiresome cliche, no one is coming to save us (you).
Local – and maybe state – plus some charitable concerns are the only entities that might provide some aid now. And even that will probably be fleeting. I wish it weren’t so, but it is. Get used to it because it only gets worse from here.
Maybe it’s time for states like North Carolina and Tennessee to man up and see after their own people and tell DC to FO? Like it was intended when we built the Republican? When Americans were self sufficient? Sure this won’t get posted.
Umm, folks are manning up. Local SO here in middle TN is collecting tractor trailers full of water to take over. Plus many others are volunteering with private boats and helicopters .this kind of stuff is happening all over the SE.
Tennessee and NC National Guard are mobilized in their respective states, NC AUXCOMM is responding since all the communication infrastructure is gone. I suspect NC Baptist Men have deployed as well – they can serve up to 30,000 meals in a day (feeding relief workers, I understand). I haven’t seen reports on the response in SC, but I suspect it is the same/proportional to their damage. There are mutual aid agreements between the various states, and groups are coming in from 19 states to assist in the recovery effort. States are manning up as usual, thank you very much.

Just imagine the enormity of the payouts the insurance companies will have to make; billions. How big will the losses be? How will they ripple through the economy? Look at all of the seemingly unrelated shit going on. Face it folks, this nation has been weighed and found wanting.
Ha! Insurance companies will dodge responsibility with every breath. Flood insurance is a separate rider, not covered under a normal policy, and these flood levels were the highest ever recorded in the Asheville area. Many of these folks likely didn’t have flood insurance because they were outside the flood zones. They are screwed.
None of the areas really affected are solid Democratic populated and run.
That’s why. It’s just flyover people being affected.
Like with Katrina. Does anyone remember how bad Biloxi was thrashed? More than New Orleans. Or Picayune, almost wiped out. Or Lumberton, trashed almost beyond repair. There’s a Walmart south of Picayune that had dead people and dead alligators on the roof.
But did that make the news?
Did the huge transfer of surplus materials like old computers and office furniture to Picayune and Lumberton by Gainesville, FL, make the news? One medium city in Florida was responsible for the recovery of city hall functions in both towns which allowed the two places to recover.
But all of that was flyover country so it didn’t matter. Just with Helene. Flyover country, so doesn’t matter.
and just in case you do not remember how bad they where in the last fuckup.
DO NOT GIVE ANY MONEY TO THE RED CROSS. 90% of what they “get” they spend on themselves and making them LOOK better. not helping people.
and never forget they are also helping all the illegals get here too.
maps, way stations and other “help” along the way.
BTW, after we manage to get the illegals out, if we even do that. we will need to get rid of all of the NGOs
that made money off this shit and helped it along. isn’t it great that all of our problems are taxpayer funded ?
so, yeah. I don’t think we are going to be able to “vote” our way out of this shit show. and with weapon sales the way they have been for the last few years, I not the only one that thinks that.
Not any chemical lab, a bio lab. Just search Conyers Biolab, all over the news.
Can’t find a story telling me what kind of BIO lab it is.
Found the below at Yahoo News from FOX Atlanta:
“The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Environmental Protection Division of Georgia responded to the scene to determine whether the chemical reaction is dangerous to the health of residents. When asked about the chemical that caused the reaction and fire, McDaniel said did not have information on it at this time.”
How many years has this plant been there the the EPA guy says no info at this time? wtf!
Pool supplies. Chlorine is a major product there. This isn’t their first major fire, either.
Brother, his wife, and his son and wife are in the affected areas. Prayers for them.
Folks, never depend on the Feds for ANYthing!! Haven’t y’all learned that yet?
Prepare.
Hands on leadership is sorely lacking.

While I certainly feel bad for all the normal people who have been affected, the federal gov should not be doing anything here. It should be a state/local issue. When we let the feds stick their nose in everything, we get the dependent people we have today and that leads toward the socialist systems that have grown up around us.
People say they want independence until SHTF and then they beg Uncle Sugar to save the day. Independence means the buck stops, good and bad, with you (and your community).
I wonder if the democrats affected will blame Trump???
t’s a given, my friend.
I wonder who God was punishing with this disaster of biblical proportions?
Ohh,our great leaders even did some preparations for the looming disaster. It was somehow determined that Now would be a good time to deploy over 700 Tennessee National e,because America First or something..
I live in SE Georgia and I got power back on Wed Oct 2. I have a mountain cottage in Sylva NC. A neighbor there has let me know there is no external damage but there is only one road in and out. There is no fuel and the power was back on within 24 hours except for the flooded areas. My place is on the side of the mountain.
