What was wrong with the roof of his vehicle? You can hang the stuff up to the front bumper and over the back by 3 feet. Of course, a car rack is most helpful in keeping it all contained on the roof and gives you a place to tie everything down to. I know, I know, I’m being too logical and practical.
He has a roof rack……🤦♀️
DOEE!!!
We’ve all known people like that and the most important thing to remember about people like that is to give them a wide berth.
If he gets it home without losing the load, or tearing something up, it ain’t wrong….hillbilly inginuity…..
I forgot I had the wife’s little POS Renegade instead of my truck getting electrical shit and came home with 4 sticks of 1 1/4″ conduit out the passenger window.
Mirror kept them tucked in nicely on the 45 mile ride home and it didn’t even rain.
I lost IQ points just looking at that.
Shut up, Igor
🙂
We all did, bro.
Homo-Depot?
about 15 years ago, I “helped” a work buddy replace a hot water heater.
never again ! anyway, I used to do the job by myself in under a hour. easy.
but with these 2 guys (health care pro’s who made big bucks) it took me over 5 hours. yup. I had to explain the difference in 3,4 and 5 year hot water heaters to them. they didn’t believe me at all. so, after getting the 3 year and cheapest one
we try to leave said home defect store. but no. there was a show going on like above but worse. really it was. so, after watching said show. we go to the house.
4 hours spent explaining the difference in soft and hard copper lines. why you NEED to put valves in and why quick unions are a must item. it got done.
I did get a very nice bottle of scotch out of all this though after it was done.
BTW, 3 years and 2 months later said hot water heater started leaking.
he believes me now when I tell him something. and the other guy who ‘helped’
now spends his weekends watching dumb shit like above whenever he gets bored. anymore, I just get in and out of the damn store as fast as I can.
I had “emergency” occasions to go to the lumber/hardware stores to get a FEW long items to carry in my SHO. I open my moon roof and feed them through it to the back seat, and if necessary I gently closed the moon roof to pinch the load accordingly.
You’d be amazed at how well it works but I do NOT do it frequently nor even infrequently as it’s hard on the gaskets around the rim of the opening. And seeing’s how it’s a 1989 parts are extremely difficult to get…
