Dang, I don’t have a chest rig. I guess I’m just not up for what’s coming.
Don’t want to use a chest rig. Try one on with 6 thirty round mags and another 4 x 16 for sidearm and you see what heavy feels like. Prefer to keep mags distributed on belt rig and back pack.
yeah, getting too old to carry a lot of gear anymore. so I use a bug out bag , it holds six magazines for the rifle and other “stuff” as well. Maxpedition made the best one I ever used/had. but the ones made by Midway are okay too. they just don’t have the belt that goes around your waist on it. I keep one with each rifle.
and just wearing a plate carrier kills my back these days
so, I just plan on staying behind cover for the most part.
by having a bag for each rifle, you can load what you need to go with each one. they all have blowout kits in them.
Judging by the popcorn, I’ll borrow Divemedic’s line about “meal team six.”
And still they keep poking us.
Guess they gotta learn the hard way…..
