I worked in some very bad areas to pay for my way through college back in the mid to late 70s in the Black Slums of South Central Los Angeles. I saw daily shootings and killings. Me and the people I worked with on my crew learned how to take care of our selves even though we were not given weapons.
My brother spent 3 years in Vietnam, most of it as a Ranger, and then 3 more years in the Army. He is now dead due to an accident in his Semi-Truck, but he was very deadly. More people in the US that have been in the military and in combat will not let what happens to the country without acting out. The same with hunters.
There are too many Americans with weapons and the smarts to build IEDs to cripple the government at will. This will is rising as the election choice ends and the country dies.
