Doubt that would last. Many of these stores depend on folks grazing other things than what they strictly came for. As soon as this stuff blows over they’ll reopen.
No way this is a legit report. Looking around online, I don’t see it being mentioned by any of the usual (or not so usual) sources, and it’s a huge story (if true). So, just another attempt at shit stirring for it’s own sake, by whoever created the video clip.
I always love these clips that use “breaking news” graphics (with no station ID whatsoever), and an authoritative girl boss voiceover to try and create an air of legitimacy. The clickiest of clickbait.
Yeah, passed 2 Walmarts today, parking lots full, people in and out. Was in one yesterday, and they were putting up the Christmas displays while consolidating the Halloween leftovers.
Life goes on, apparently.
Was not the apocalyptic wasteland that we were promised….
So posted videos shit talking about something they were all gonna do, and then pussed out? I’d never have believed that could happen.
Then again, it’s only 11/1, give it a day or three and we’ll see what happens with the teat suckers. Things aren’t desperate just yet.
