Copulate tack welding. Drill it, put two damned rivets in it and that beyotch will never come apart.
I have had to do just that with 3 spoons and 2 spatulas. Funny, the spoons and spatulas that come riveted never come apart. Tack welded? Copulaters come apart within 3-4 years.
