Hi again
Here are a few more from shows etc that I’ve collected.
First is an Indian, about 1948
Next two are a couple of drag race VWs, not sure where those pics are from
Blue car is an SP 250 Daimler, 2.5 litre V8
Red car is a Marcos kit car which used Ford running gear and a plywood bonded tub chassis with metal bearers
V12 E type Jag, beautiful car, so unlike the crap they make today
One of your Jeeps with a sadly none functional 50cal
An earlier Indian chief, about 1940
A three wheeler BSA, very popular and similar to the Morgan’s, 1930s this one
Late 40s or early 50s Caddy
Your nemesis (Phil), a Sprite, but the early Frogeye
Then it goes Firebird, General Lee clone, Dodge done up as a NASCAR’s racer, Nash, nice Mustang and a Plymouth
Regards
Robert
E-type jag is probably the most beautiful car ever created.
To me, it’s a toss-up between it and the Ferrari Dino 246. Both look like they were drawn with a single line of pencil.
Some very nice and very rare rides there. Those VW dragsters are a hoot.
The Jag is gorgeous .
I also noticed a late model yellow Midget with rubber bumpers next to it.
Robert thank you for the pic’s and nostalgia you are more like us than you know but’s that’s a good thing.
Great eclectic collection of pictures, Robert – thanks!
Robert – FYI, the Post Mount on a Jeep is NOT authorized for that Ma Deuce – Fire it Sideways and it will Tip Over the Car, according to Vets. And if you Fire it Forwards over the Hood, the Muzzle Blast will Shatter the Wind(Screen). I saw that happen myself, at a Gun Shoot here in Virginia.
From what I’ve seen, I think there are more Functional M2’s here in the States, than Dummies… $200 “gansta’ Tax” to register one.
