had a boss once that told the new area manager guy, never ask Dave how things are going unless you want the truth. as he will in no uncertain term tell you just how bad things are going. he sold the company he made from the ground up to a bunch of wall street assholes who ran it into the ground in 5 years.
I left there 13 months before that happened. as I could see the signs of what to come. kind of funny how all the people who told me how stupid I was at the time asking me about job opening where I was 13 months later.
funny how things work out now ?
Travelled a similar path but large corporation division, was not sold. First one to bail, friends there said morale started going to shit the day after I left, guess it was a wake up call.
Years later division was shut down, then years later started up again. Always some asshole attempting an old streamlining plan that failed thinking he can do better. Freakin maroons.
