weird as I got a 4 magazine holder for my Galco shoulder holster not too long ago.
and it holds my Sig 226. although I did also pickup another holster for Springfield
SA-35 too. besides, at his age there just might be more pain everyday than he would like to deal with . I do understand how he feels about it all as somedays it just sucks bigtime. add in the bonus of maybe taking a few assholes with you makes it all that sweeter. last time I was in a large city, I carried 4 magazines on my person and had and another 4 magazines in the truck.
you do keep extra ammo in you truck as well right ? to reload your magazines ?
I tried wearing a plate carrier with steel plates in ,but that just kills my back in 5 minutes. hell even a wrap around level IIIa hurts like hell after a while.
so, fuck it.
The Sig MIGHT be better, but I LOVE the Hi power (and clones).
the SA-35 has the best trigger on any high power I ever used.
at one time I had a Browning HP, but lost it the divorce
also had a Inglas (?) one much later, it went to pay medical bills. picked up the SA-35 about 2 years ago by chance before turkey day when I was shopping for some 22 ammo for my grandson and the store had one in stock.
it better/easier to use than both HP I had before.
and I can put the magazine of 15 rounds in a 9 inch paper plate at 25-30 yards all day too.
and I picked up a 10 pack of magazines for 190 or so early this year. I like having a lot of extra magazines.
Happiness is making the other guy go out in a YYYUUUGGGEEE pile of smoking brass.
Strange, that’s me to a tee. Well, I have to pick up a couple more magazines. But that’s me.
We should call them life magazines and get plenty more copies
I saw this genuine old cowboy in the local Wal Mart with a Beretta M92 in a pancake holster which is a slightly unusual choice in this case. The thing is it was the blued version and all the blue was worn completley off to a silver shine. That us a sign that you would never ever want that guy shooting at you.
yeah, a few of the younger guys at the range started asking me for tips after seeing this old fart unload at a paper plate at 50 yards
(old gold cup that has been worked on) I think it close to 40 years old now. anyway, I had it refinished about 15-20 years ago.
the stainless steel finish was beat to death. redid it in black Teflon
and now that finish is looking sad. and god only knows how many rounds I put thru it over the years. the reload round I like best is
a 230 grain cast lead head pushed by 4.6 grains of bullseye
a bit dirty to shoot, but it does give me tight groups!
and I have a lot of lead here to make more of them.
AMEN to that.
I’m right behind him
A life sentence instills no fear to me.
Or him.
