I’m f-ing sick of the left.
It’s not a pendulum moving sinusoidaly, it’s a sawtooth. Government increases until the whole country collapses, then the cycle repeats. Recent repeats include: Portugal, The Netherlands, Spain, France, Britain. USA is due to be next. The pattern is overpromising on domestic social service wealth transfers and foreign colonial military adventures. Then the currency gets hyperinflated, wiping out the middle class’ savings in that currency, and a major naval battle is lost.
