Nobody’s noticed the age? Nine years old!
So he started early, we use to get a few boys and girls in ER stuffing things where no man has gone before…
8-11 year-old males are interesting creatures. Who can forget one coming in with “tummy hurting” with “no known reason”….. with XR (x-ray) showing a metal object in his bladder….. ended up being the spindle from a record player. Best question was from his grandmother – “how’d THAT get there?” We (ER staff) just looked at her. Patient didn’t say a word…. sent him to surgery with urology.
